Project overview.
S Y Lee Associates worked with Osborn Architecture, now part of NAC Architecture, on the LAUSD elementary school that opened in 2012. Originally designated CRES #22, the school received LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council—the highest LEED certification level and the first awarded to an LAUSD school.
The project incorporated the first geothermal heat pump system installed at an LAUSD site.
