THE PROJECT

Project overview.

The property, known as the Mail Order District, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its location near the Los Angeles River, rail lines, freeways, and residential neighborhoods supports a mix of uses.

S Y Lee provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil engineering design. The scope included a complete HVAC system, a main electrical service upgrade, and plumbing utilities serving approximately 1,100 residences, 90,000 square feet of commercial space, and 250,000 square feet of offices.
